Being Hawaiian-at-Heart began in the 1960’s when I was growing up in Ewa Beach, Hawaii. Imagine living by the beach, making plumeria leis with flowers from your own trees, eating home grown papayas, listening to the waves at night before falling asleep, the sweet smell of fresh pikake or pakalana flowers, the warm breezes and salt air… going to the beach with EVERYBODY… not just Mom, Dad and sisters, but grandmas, grandpas, aunties, uncles and cousins too… everyone in the water, playing, fishing, diving, surfing, boogie boarding, “talking story”… plain and simple, LIFE… to me all of this is Hawaiian-at-Heart.

The “business” of being Hawaiian-at-Heart began in 2001. I made Christmas gifts with island flair and everyone loved them and said “put'em in stores”… so I did. Picture yourself in your own island paradise… you don’t have to be in Hawaii to be Hawaiian-at-Heart. Be kind to this Earth, your friends and your family.
